Activities

The daily program offers exciting explorations of the surroundings. A highlight is the 52-hectare ancient city of Hegra, Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage site, where over a hundred artistically decorated tombs await visitors. The archaeological sites of Dadan, impressive rock art regions, and the historic Hijaz train stations are equally fascinating. Nature also presents itself spectacularly here – from majestic sandstone mountains to the lush oasis valley with thousands of date palms. As a perfect balance after an eventful day, the hotel’s spa invites you to relax with healing thermal water and soothing massages, as well as the impressive Rock Pool built between two rocks.

Rooms

True to the motto "Elegance meets Nature," the villas are designed in the style of Nabataean architecture. This reflects the nomadic nature: Inspired by the rocks of the surroundings, the building materials are solid and robust. A canvas cover serves both to protect against the sun and to maintain privacy. At the same time, Banyan Tree AlUla has ensured ample views, providing breathtaking vistas even from inside the villa. The interior is kept simple and elegant, complemented by Arabic accents and atmospheric light elements, rounded off with a traditional Majilis and private pools that provide a welcome refreshment at any time.
