Named after the legendary Egyptian queen Cleopatra, the Dahabiya Cleo – "Queen of the Nile" – combines traditional elegance with contemporary luxury. Onboard, you will find two panorama deluxe suites with private balconies, four double cabins, and four twin cabins, all serviced by an 18-member crew – an exceptionally high staff-to-guest ratio for a ship of this size. Cleo stands out among the Nile Dahabiyas with some unusual features: a private sun deck jacuzzi with a view of the Nile and – according to the provider – a jacuzzi tub in every bathroom. The journey starts in Luxor and takes you along the temples and landscapes that have shaped the Nile since the times of the pharaohs.

Cabins

Cleo offers a total of ten accommodations: two panorama deluxe suites with private balconies, four double cabins, and four twin cabins. The amenities include spacious beds, Wi-Fi, a minibar, and air conditioning, while according to the provider, each bathroom is equipped with its own jacuzzi tub. As it is still a very young ship, it is advisable to check current photos and floor plans directly with the operator MG Cruises before booking.

Onboard Cleo, you can expect a lounge bar with a wide view of the Nile and a wide selection of drinks and spirits. Meals are served during the journey along the temples and landscapes of Upper Egypt, accompanied by the tranquil backdrop of the flowing river.

Cleo's amenities include a sun deck with jacuzzi, a massage and yoga offering, and shaded retreats on deck. The route leads from Luxor along the most significant attractions on the Nile, accompanied by the characteristic slow pace of a classic Dahabiya journey.

Route

Cleo sets sail from Luxor and travels along the Nile towards Aswan, passing temples and landscapes that have shaped the riverbanks for millennia. As a project launched in 2024 by MG Cruises / Middle East Logistics & Consultant Group, the offering is still under development; a detailed itinerary can be requested directly from the operator. Both starting points, Luxor and Aswan, are accessible via their international airports, which are also served by short flights from Cairo.
