Round trip through Morocco

Round trip through Morocco

Dive into a country that fascinatingly unites contrasts: In the winding alleys of the old town of Marrakech, life dances – merchants call out their prices, the scents of spices waft through the air, and the centuries-old craftsmanship is reflected in the Riads. Further up, in the barren heights of the Atlas Mountains, you will encounter silence, clear mountain air, and the warm hospitality of the Berbers who proudly preserve their traditions. And when the horizon finally expands and the sun sets golden over the rocky Agafay Desert, you will feel how impressively nature and culture blend in Morocco. This journey is not just about being on the move – it is a deep immersion into the soul of a country full of stories, rhythms, and beauty.

The bustling Medina of Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech-Menara Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and taken by private transfer to the legendary Hotel La Mamounia – a stylish oasis right next to the walls of the historic Medina. After checking in and enjoying a refreshing welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the garden and Koutoubia Mosque, your first exploration of Marrakech begins in the afternoon. During a guided walk through the old town, you will experience the magic of Koutoubia Mosque, the colorful hustle and bustle at Djemaa el Fna, and the lively alleys of the souks. In the evening, you can unwind with a stylish dinner in a traditional riad restaurant or on a rooftop terrace with views over the city.

The next morning, you will embark on a guided tour of the city's most important cultural sites: You will visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, the ornate Saadian Tombs, and discover Moroccan handicrafts in the souks. After a light lunch in one of the charming cafés in the old town, the afternoon leads you to another highlight: the Jardin Majorelle and the adjacent Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Back at the hotel, you can enjoy relaxing hours by the pool or indulge in a traditional hammam ritual at the spa. In the evening, a stylish farewell dinner with oriental flair perfectly rounds off your stay in Marrakech.

From the royal city to the mountain oasis

After the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, a scenic drive begins into the nearby Atlas Mountains. In just about an hour, you will reach the elegant Kasbah Tamadot, the luxurious mountain hideaway of Sir Richard Branson, beautifully situated at the foot of the High Atlas. Surrounded by cedars, rose gardens, and the silence of the mountains, this boutique hotel offers the perfect retreat for relaxation, nature experiences, and cultural encounters with the Berber world. After checking in, you can unwind with a light lunch on the terrace overlooking the valley. In the afternoon, a walk through the garden of the Kasbah or a traditional Berber massage in the hotel spa is recommended. The day concludes with a multi-course dinner in the stylish restaurant under the open sky.

The next morning, join a guided hike to a Berber village, where you will gain insights into traditional life in the Atlas. Optionally, you can participate in a cooking class to learn the secrets of Moroccan cuisine. The afternoon is at your leisure.
For the following day, we recommend participating in the project of the Eve Branson Foundation, which provides women and youth access to education and craftsmanship. In the afternoon, there will be time again for relaxation before a romantic farewell dinner under the starry sky awaits you in the evening – optionally with a private atmosphere in one of the traditional Tented Suites. How about an impressive hot air balloon ride to see the surroundings from a bird's eye perspective?
